Q: What size tires will fit my vehicle once it’s been lowered?

We generally advise keeping your tire size right around the same as factory for decent fender clearance. Even with the stock size tires though, trimming may be necessary.

Q: What are your alignment specs?

Alignment specs are always recommended to be as close to factory as possible.

Q: My vehicle comes with the factory auto ride or magnetic ride system. Will your lowering kit still work?

Yes, we offer components that will allow our suspension to work in conjunction with the factory auto ride and magnetic ride systems.

Shipping & Returns

Q: Return Exceptions

Merchandise that has been installed, used, or altered may be subject to no credit.

Q: Return & Credit Policy

Your item must be in its original unused and resalable condition to be returned unless there’s a manufacturer defect.

You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase. Otherwise, there will be an additional restocking fee.

  1. Please contact MaxTrac Suspension to obtain a Return Manufacturer Authorization Number (RMA#).
  2. Return your product to MaxTrac Suspension at your expense.
  3. Include RMA# on the box.

Q: Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a restocking fee based on the condition of the packaging and product.

MaxTrac Suspension does not credit shipping and handling.

Credit minus an applicable restocking fee will be determined and issued within 10 business days.

All returns will be credited to your Maxtrac account.

IFS suspension typically has a 2:1 ratio due to location of the strut or coil in comparison to the spindle and hub.

Q: What are your alignment specs?

Alignment specs are always recommended to be as close to factory as possible. None of our components require additional parts to align.

Q: I would like to get a price quote for one of your kits & what is the cost for installation

Lift

Q: Will your lift spindles fit my 4wd vehicle?

No. A 4wd truck with IFS (independent front suspension) has front axles that attach to the differential at one end and run through the wheel bearing on the spindle at the other end. Our 3”, 3.5”, 4”, 4.5” or 5” lift spindles achieve their height by relocating the wheel bearings down the body of the spindle. After the wheel bearing is relocated down on the spindle, it now sits directly in front of the lower control arm. If these spindles were put onto a 4wd truck, the front axle would now be running directly through the middle of the lower control arm making it physically impossible to install.

Q: Will my truck sit level after installing a Maxtrac Suspension lift kit?

Most of our lift kits are designed to get your truck sitting as close to level as possible once installed. The amount of rake each truck has from the factory varies though and some trucks may need more or less lift front and rear to sit level. We recommend measuring your vehicle’s stock rake angle to know exactly how much lift will be necessary for a level stance.
