What makes MaxTrac better? To start, it’s the people. MaxTrac was founded by a small group of employees and a few are actually still around to this day, dedicated to the success of the company and the happiness of our customers. JJ, head of tech support, is one of those guys. While he might be juggling several things at once, he’s always happy to jump on the phone and walk a customer through an install or an issue.

Have you ever been elbows deep in an install and something’s just not going right? The last thing you want to do is wait on hold for 10-15 minutes, hoping that the guy who answers your call can actually understand your issue and solve your problem. I know what it’s like to talk to someone on the phone who’s never opened a single part and has no idea where it goes on a truck.

When you call MaxTrac, that’s not what you get. JJ’s the guy who literally designs and test-fits the kits before they get released; he can even walk you through an install with his eyes closed...

Have you seen our new packaging yet? We just recently wrapped up a year-long project of revamping our product box art. The new design features integrated graphics that flow not only over the edges of the boxes, but also seamlessly blend with a box on top of or below it. The box also has a QR code for easy access to our website - and all of our instructions just in case you misplaced them! “We wanted to prominently display the ‘LIFT | LEVEL | LOWER’ tagline and I think Tiffany (our graphics artist) really knocked it out of the park!” said President Mike Sun about the new boxes.

This is just another example of how proud we are as a company of everything that comes out of our building. We believe not only should the product you receive look good on the truck, it should also look good sitting on your shelf waiting for the install date. Keep an eye out with your next kit delivery, the boxes are shipping now in select sizes!
This month is all about R&D! We’ve had a few new vehicle platforms in the R&D bay at MaxTrac over the last few weeks and have quite a few exciting new products in the pipeline. Some of the vehicles we’ve had on JJ’s lift include an e-torque Ram 1500, a magneride-equipped Suburban and a 2021 Tahoe. While we won’t give too much away as to what we have planned, we would like to give a little insight into exactly how MaxTrac designs a new product.

“The R&D process is a relatively straight-forward one. When looking at the new platform of a vehicle, I first take into consideration what has been historically popular. In lowering, the big movers have always been 2”/4”, 3”/5”, and 4”/6” drops; In lifting, it has always been 2-2.5”, 4”/2”, and 6”/3”. To achieve a level stance, these configurations are most popular due to the majority of trucks having 2-3” of rake from the factory.

The determining factor on how we proceed is whether or not we have access to the truck’s electronic files.... Click here for more!
Q: What makes MaxTrac lift kits different?

We had an interesting March over here at MaxTrac Suspension. Within a span of a couple of days, two of our trucks were involved in fender benders. While no one was injured in either accident, it brings up the interesting topic of safety and lifted trucks.

The first incident occurred when our senior salesman, Sean Romo, was out on the road visiting some local shops. While waiting to turn left in the center median, he was sideswiped by an older Ford Taurus. Our Maxtrac Ram 2500 suffered nothing more than a bump to the tire, but the Taurus didn’t fare so well. A big dent right on the driver’s door handle will definitely remind that car’s owner to put his phone down next time he’s driving... Continue reading
