Suspension Lift Kits

Shop MaxTrac suspension lift kits for trucks and SUVs, from 2.5 to 8 inches. Every kit here is designed and manufactured by MaxTrac for a specific year range, model and drivetrain, so the parts bolt on without cutting.

Types of suspension lift kits

Lift spindles replace the factory spindle with a taller one and keep the control arms and springs at their stock angles. They're the cleanest way to add 3 to 5 inches on a two wheel drive independent front suspension (IFS) truck.

Coil spacers, strut spacers and lifting torsion keys work with the springs already on the truck. They're the lowest cost route to a level stance and suit suspension kits for trucks that spend most of their time on pavement.

Front and rear lift box kits are typically centered around 2wd lift kits. These bundle spindles, spacers, blocks and hardware for one truck into a single part number, making it easier to purchase a complete lift kit without having to order multiple, individual components

Lifting component boxes are typically centered around 4wd lift kits. These may contain front & rear crossmembers, tall coil springs, track bar brackets w/ misc diff brackets, skid plates, radius arm brackets, 4-links, etc.

Popular lift heights

  • 2.5 to 3 inches: levels the factory rake and clears a tire one size up.
  • 4 to 5 inches: room for 33-inch tires on most half tons, usually a spindle lift on a 2wd or a moderate kit for a 4wd
  • 6 to 8 inches: clearance for 35s or 37’s and up. Component box kits typically make up the complete kit. Typically more involved installation depending on the kit and whether the truck is 2wd, 4wd, IFS or solid axle

Lift kits by vehicle

MaxTrac covers Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Dodge/RAM, Toyota, Nissan, Jeep, Hummer and Cadillac. Fitment is written to the generation and drivetrain, so Ford F150 lift kits for the 2015+ aluminum body trucks are separate part numbers from the 2009-2014 kits. Filter by your exact vehicle.

Why buy MaxTrac suspension and lift kits

MaxTrac manufactures its own spindles, boxes, coils and keys, so the components in every kit were engineered to work together. Any lift changes toe and camber, so plan on an alignment afterward, and check your state's fender and bumper height rules.

FAQs

It raises the body and frame away from the axles and wheels, which makes room for bigger tires and lifts the lowest hard points under the truck off the ground (on 4wd applications).
Spacer and torsion key kits sit at the low end, spindle kits in the middle, and 6 to 8 inch complete lift kits at the top. Installation and the alignment are priced separately.
The one matched to your front suspension type and how you use the truck. A 2WD half ton on 33s wants a spindle or spacer kit; a 4WD on 35s and trails requires a complete suspension system
